After sitting on the tracks for over a year, Manchester based Tom Lynch a.k.a Tomson is about to release his aptly named ‘Waiting E.P’ on Illusion Recordings. Capturing a feel good vibe, lead track ‘Waiting’ is a connoisseur deep houser with bouncing rhythm, deep stabbing chords and an underling groove that would take over any dance floor in an instant, while the second original ‘The Drug Dealer & The Bookmaker’ takes us on a darker trip with a meaty acidic bassline. Remixes comes courtesy of Washerman who strips things back with a solid raw house vibe and John Dimas who steps up the tempo bringing a hypnotic groove with rolling rhythm, snappy snares and soaring strings.
Living in Manchester Tomson used to throw Deep House night Development, inviting amazing artists such as Kerri Chandler, Karizma and Doc Martin. Gaining a good reputation this was certainly a party for those in the know.
Tom also runs his own label called We_Ctrl with best friends Benedict which they set up as a platform to release their own music. Only three releases in they have built a reputation for releasing real quality music with each release on the label and selling out very quickly.
Washerman is the solo project of Gianni Siravo who used to record as one half of Azuni, which ended in 2011 to pursue his own projects. He also runs his own vinyl label called Deep Down Slam Records. o+o+ Greek born but Berlin based John Dimas is a first class DJ, producer and now live artist. With releases on the likes of One Records, Dame Music, Overall, La Vie En Rose, Bass Culture and Smoke City under his belt there is no doubt 2013 is set to be his year.
