Fresh from releases on Crossfrontier, Motek & Suruba, rising stars Slow Hearts make a welcome Constant Circles debut with a beautifully crafted EP of two original tracks full of heart & soul, blurring the lines between electronica & techno.
The beauty of lead track ‘Sub 37’ is in its simplicity. A driving groove rolls underneath layered pads and a killer hook, building patiently to an emotive crescendo. On the flip side, ‘Terralis’ takes us on a much more complex journey into melodic electronica, a melting pot of stunning synth work and arpeggiated melodies.
On remix duties, label regular Radeckt takes ‘Sub 37’ into groovy techno territory, with skillful use of the key sounds from the original mix, blended effortlessly with his trademark percussive elements to create an organic and original dance floor cut.
The release is completed with stunning original artwork from Eyal Schwartz, a Moscow based artist and writer who brings his abstract images to the canvas without thinking, in a state of meditation, where there is an open path between the imaginary and the real.
And so continues the story of a label built on the foundations of an unquenchable thirst for the underground and a yearning for the sounds of the future, the past and all that emerges in between. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.
