Tema Due, Nicola Conte & Nico Lahs – EP2 (Schema Records)

A new release from Tema Due, Nicola Conte & Nico Lahs on Schema Records is here, and it’s a powerful testament to the creative synergy between these two artists. Dubbed EP2, this release is a masterful blend of spiritual jazz, Afro-American rhythms, and electronic finesse, all crafted for the most discerning and sophisticated dancefloors. It’s a release that doesn’t just entertain; it elevates, turning the dance floor into a sacred space where the body and spirit move in harmony.   

This project is aimed at a refined club scene that values depth and purpose in its sound. By seamlessly blending live musicianship with electronic production, Tema Due engages both the mind and body. EP2 also marks the first time that Nicola Conte, Nico Lahs, and the talented young Brazilian percussionist Gabriel Prado have collaborated. This new partnership builds upon their long-standing work with pianist Pietro Lussu, whose warm, organic Fender Rhodes and keyboard melodies are a defining element of the release.

The standout track, “Share Your Love,” is a beautiful example of this synergy. Featuring the emotional vocals of Brazilian singer Nina Miranda, the song is a soulful exploration of peace, sharing, and love among all people. Enhanced by Giovanni Guidi’s Fender Rhodes and synth contributions, this tune is an incredibly rich and spiritually resonant experience. The entire EP is a journey in itself, with tracks like “Galaxy Bloom” and “Praise To The Sunshine” showcasing the duo’s ability to fuse hypnotic rhythms with lush jazz elements.

This EP sets the stage for a full-length album from Tema Due, which is currently in development. It will expand their conceptual and sonic horizons and will be followed by a third EP, symbolically closing a trilogy that combines club culture with spirituality and artistic exploration.
