Situation, Ft. Andre Espeut – Standing Here Baby (Hold You Tight) (Nang)

Nang Records is thrilled to present the latest from UK collective Situation. Their newest release, “Standing Here Baby Hold U Tight,” is a jaunty vocal-house number featuring the fine soul vocal talents of frequent collaborator Andre Espeut (known for his work on Defected & Fools Gold records).

The original track, “Standing Here Baby,” was a standout on their debut album, and now it’s getting the remix treatment for maximum dancefloor impact.

The EP kicks off with a pulsating remix from Wolverhampton’s Peza. He delivers a track with grinding, angular grooves, sharp beats, and snappy drum samples that are built for the dancefloor. Situation then steps up with their own “Groove Time” remix, an extended version designed for maximum danceability.

For something a bit deeper, the Karaman mix takes the bass synths down a notch while adding layers of twisted, elastic keys on top. George Kelly follows with a fresh and light house mix before the package is rounded off with a convenient radio edit.
