The DT dub (aka Dom Thompson) following a string of remixes on Nang & United Recordings, DT has put another classic dub remix together here for Situation. Warm stabby synth chords, pads & effects collate together in a warm rich sound with a broken beat that keeps that groove moving in the right direction. Lauren is in tight loops to start with until DT bumps it up a gear & lets the full lushness of the vocals break through …another beauty from camp DT!
The Sunrise mix has that Balearic vibe through out, you can feel the sun rising as the warm analogue chords & atmospherics wash over you in waves as Lauren weaves her wondrous tones through the tight drums and a classic house bass line …one for the dawning’s of the mornings.
