A Summer Riot (Part II) (Futureboogie)

After the inaugural ‘A Summer Riot EP’ was released last year featuring monumental tracks from Coat Of Arms, Lukas and Behling, Futureboogie hit us once again right in time for summer sun with the ‘A Summer Riot (Part II)’ four tracks encompassing piano melodies, infectious vocals, big bouncing basslines and heaps of disco tinted groove. The first track comes from newcomer Thrilogy, with firm family favourites PBR Streetgang, Danielle Moore, Lukas and James Welsh making up the rest of this killer release.

Up and coming new Bristol artist Thrilogy aka Lee Pattison joins the label for the first time, and has already garnered praise and plays from the likes of Thugfucker, Eats Everything, and Catz and Dogz.

Currently at the top of their game, and already bang into their long running residency with We Love at Space, PBR Streetgang are back onboard after last years wonderfully wonky ´Double Boogie EP´. The boys have already been featured on Pete Tong´s Radio 1 show this year, and they call in wonderful friend and Northern countrywoman Danielle Moorefrom Crazy P to sprinkle some vocal magic.

Producer, DJ, remixer, secret location party maker, creator of seductively sneaky reedits, Lukas has long been in the vanguard of Bristol’s electronic music scene – and maybe still one of the fair city´s best kept secrets. His release ‘Maison de Cheval’with mate (and label mate) Christophe (which Faith magazine called ‘a future classic’) has been omnipresent across discerning dancefloors since it’s release. ´Rock Right´sets the stall out nicely for a full artist release from him later in the year on Futureboogie

One of UK house´s new talents is James Welsh – who is collecting a fine body of work for labels such as Hypercolour, WOLF, and once again here on Futureboogie, following his superb ´Craven EP´. James warm, musical, organic style has earned him praise outside of the house world as well, with Gilles Peterson playing tracks from ´Craven’ on his BBC Radio 6 show.
