LeSale returns to regular home Luv Shack for a darker than usual trip into fuzzy house territory.
“LeSexe” is something of a basement bumper, all liquid synth bass, hazy vocal samples, cosmic chords and darting melodies. Lee Stevens and Domino go deeper on their remix, opting for thick, US-house inspired chords, thickset beats and shuffling beats.
“Symphony” is an altogether more upbeat affair, fixing wide-eyed, neo-Balearic melodies and vocal samples to acid bass and fluid chords. SimonLeBon and Jakobin’s remix is, if anything, even more beautiful, thanks to judicious use of sweet chords and tear-jerking melodies.
