393AD is back on Full Range Motion Records with the Singularities EP, a compelling new release that dives deep into introspective and driving techno. Following up on his acclaimed Doctrine EP, the Amsterdam-based artist continues to refine his unique sound, blending playful sound design with raw, live hardware jams.
This second release on the young, vibrant label further solidifies 393AD’s distinctive style, offering a sonic journey that is both immersive and captivating.
The EP kicks off with “Gravitational,” a mind-bending track built on a foundation of pulsating beats. As the song progresses, shimmering patterns and shifting textures emerge, creating a sense of a chaotic, eerie calm—like the moments after a cosmic near-collision.
Next up is “Technological,” a more dramatic and hypnotic cut that masterfully balances noise and serenity. It’s a track that draws you in, building a palpable sense of tension and intrigue with every passing moment.
Flipping to the B-side, you’ll find “Mechanical,” a track designed for the dance floor. It features propulsive kicks and punchy, low-end sequences that create a dynamic and infectious rhythmic interplay. This clever track finds the perfect balance between a serious groove and a cheeky, playful edge.
The EP concludes with a powerful remix of “Gravitational” by Maasym. He takes the original’s urgent momentum and weaves in his own energetic pulses, creating a magnetic rhythmic landscape that leads to a climactic revival of the main melody.
Singularities EP was mastered by Conor Dalton at Glowcast Mastering and is set to drop in Fall 2025, distributed by Clone.
This release is a must-listen for fans of thoughtful, cinematic techno and marks an exciting new chapter for 393AD. Get ready for a journey into the cosmos.
