Mark Mood a.k.a. Discount City (Foundation)

Mark Mood (commonly known as Marko) moved to Tokyo from the outskirts of Chicago with an open mind embracing all things new. His taste in music growing up was heavily influenced by Blues, R&B, Jazz, Funk, and Soul. However, during his adventures exploring this entirely different world, he was exposed to and felt a strong connection to Electronic music and the culture it came with.

Soon thereafter Marko made the decision to LIVE MUSIC and in no time was being booked for DJ gigs throughout the city. Marko\’s courage and desire to learn are strong qualities leading to the development of his personal style not only as a DJ, but also as the budding producer he is. His style has transformed over the years into an underground vibe of Deep House and Techno, but with a Midwest touch coming from his original influences. Marko has stayed true to his roots while simultaneously accepting, understanding, and ultimately enjoying his current reality. Exciting times ahead as Marko accomplishes his mission of self-discovery and blossoms into the Champion he is destined to be!
