‘TOUCH’ was a weekly live music social club held alternate weeks in Taiwan’s two major Taiwanese cities. In Taipei, in the north of Taiwan, at ‘Tav Cafe – Taipei Artist Village.’ In the south, at the ‘liaoliao studios’ based in Kaohsiung.
DJ Zulu
DJ Zulu (Barcelona, Spain) is one of the most versatile and knowledgeable music selectors in the region. With a professional career dating back to 1999, his recent activity is focused in Taiwan (Taipei). There he strives to make it funky anywhere there is good taste and a crowd looking to burn up their dancing shoes. He served up his funky grooves around many different cities from Europe (Spain, France, Italy) to Asia (Taiwan, Macau, Japan) as a guest DJ in multiple events.
He also shared decks with legendary DJs like Turmix (official DJ for Fania Records, USA), Vadim (Ninja Tune, Jazz Fudge, UK), Taizo Taniguchi (Hit the Spot!, Fabulous Vibrations, Japan), Marcos Juandó (Powder Room, Café Royale, Juandó Records, Spain), Luis Soulful (Soulful Torino Records, Italy), Fred Spider (Jazz & Milk Breaks, The Jivers, France) and many others. Acoustic (DJ) or/and visual (VJ), the basic concept of his sets are the Timeless & Positive Grooves. Past, present & future club sounds.
TOUCH
In Taipei resident DJ ‘s are Wanghart and Digital D. In Kaohsiung its Wanghart & Eddie Hu, each week taking you through a selection of newly released and soon to be released Dance Music. Mostly featured here in the Music section of the liaoliao website.
Each week Touch invite a special guest DJ to join in and expose their style of music and individual mixing techniques.
