‘TOUCH’ was a weekly live music social club held alternate weeks in Taiwan’s two major Taiwanese cities. In Taipei, in the north of Taiwan, at ‘Tav Cafe – Taipei Artist Village.’ In the south, at the ‘liaoliao studios’ based in Kaohsiung.
Max Savage
Max Savage is a young French / British songwriter, producer and performer. His sound is a crossword of luscious pop, intriguing electronic and warm chiseled textures. It’s visual music that captures you and slowly unveils itself. Elegant, eerie, inspiring and surprising.
Born in Lyon, France, he started blending electronic and acoustic music in his early teens. His love and admiration for Bjork, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Rufus Wainwright, but also Krazy Baldhead, James Blake and Prince, appear in many forms in his music. He produced a remix to the Brooklyn band Mitten for their song Green, that will be available later this year.
A graphic designer when he’s not singing, he draws his visions in colorful, sometimes wordless songs in French, English and champagne flavored clouds. His talents as a performer go far beyond music: a special guest of the Rock in Hose Burlesque troupe, he performed for the Taipei Gay Pride in 2010, in front of 30 000 people.
His shows are a testimony to his creativity: a Maschine sampler accompanies his intimate voice beautifully, his spectacular costumes and voodoo dance moves mesmerize and confuse his audience. You will come out wanting more. Currently putting the finishing touches to his debut EP, Max Savage is an exciting discovery who has everything to become a respected figure of the international Music Scene.
