‘TOUCH’ was a weekly live music social club held alternate weeks in Taiwan’s two major Taiwanese cities. In Taipei, in the north of Taiwan, at ‘Tav Cafe – Taipei Artist Village.’ In the south, at the ‘liaoliao studios’ based in Kaohsiung.
Phunkid
DJ Phunkid is a veteran of the Taiwan dance music scene started djing in the mid 80′ deeply influenced by indie and new wave electro funk, he was also a member of the first Taiwanese break dance crews called Taipei City Breakers.
Over the years he has worked his way through a platter of dance music styles, supported a number of the worlds top DJ’s and played a host of top venues here in Asia. Still with his finger firmly on the dance music pulse you can find him playng his favoured blend of jazy deep tech house at a variety of night spots here in the Taiwan capital Taipei.
With his first step into the production world he has his first digital release out on Revox Records Taiwan, the futures bright and this is one DJ producer to keep an ear on.
TOUCH
In Taipei resident DJ ‘s are Wanghart and Digital D. In Kaohsiung its Wanghart & Eddie Hu, each week taking you through a selection of newly released and soon to be released Dance Music. Mostly featured here in the Music section of the liaoliao website.
Each week Touch invite a special guest DJ to join in and expose their style of music and individual mixing techniques.
